How to Get Started

Open a Growth Savings Account

Open a Growth Savings Account and receive a kit with all the essentials to start your own lemonade stand, including a pitcher, wooden spoon, lemonade packets, money bag, tablecloth, apron, stickers, and Lemonade Stand Starter Guide.

Plan Ahead

Use the materials to plan the lemonade stand, purchase additional supplies, and pick a perfect day with your child. Spread the word to friends and family to ensure a successful event!

Track Your Progress

Teach your child the basics of budgeting and financial tracking. Start by setting a goal for how much they want to earn. Use the provided Sales & Expense sheet to track their progress, calculate net income, and understand the concepts of costs, revenue, and profit.

The kit includes a pitcher, wooden spoon, lemonade packets, money bag, tablecloth, apron and a Lemonade Stand Starter Guide. 

If you open a Growth Savings Account online, you can pick up your Lemonade Stand Kit at your nearest Fidelity Bank Banking Center. Simply visit the branch and present your account details to receive your kit. Our friendly staff will be happy to assist you in getting started on your Lemonade Learning Club journey!

There are no additional costs beyond opening a Growth Savings Account for your child. Any supplies for the lemonade stand can be purchased at your discretion.

That’s why we’ve created our Lemonade Learning Corner, packed with resources to help you and your child navigate the world of finances. From fun lemonade-themed activities to kid-friendly budgeting tips, our corner is the perfect place to nurture your child’s financial literacy skills in a refreshing and engaging way.

*Open a new Growth Savings accounts prior to August 31, 2024, to receive a Lemonade Starter Kit. Lemonade Learning Club and Growth Savings account open to those 18 and younger. Parent or guardian must be present with child to open account and/or to receive offer, they agree that Fidelity Bank assumes no liability for any recommended activities through this program or associated with this Lemonade Starter Kit. By accepting this offer on behalf of their children, each parent or guardian, jointly and severally agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Fidelity Bank from any claims and/or damages as a related to the activities involved in this program or with Lemonade Starter Kit. By emailing pictures to Fidelity Bank or by posting pictures on social media, you are giving Fidelity Bank permission to use your likeness in promotional material. Adult supervision is required for participation. As of 6/3/24, the Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for Growth Savings is 1.00%. Minimum opening deposit is $10.00.
