Fidelity Bank Gives Awards to Employees Who Exemplify the Bank’s Values of Doing Right by Clients, Colleagues and Communities

Several Fidelity Bank employees were honored March 5 at the bank’s annual All Hearts Meeting at DoubleTree by Hilton in Leominster. “It was a pleasure to bring attention to a group of people who demonstrated the highest level of commitment to maintaining and supporting the bank’s culture and values during the last year,” says Ed Manzi Jr., Fidelity Bank Chairman and CEO. The annual awards recognize Fidelity Bank role models who exemplify the bank’s LifeDesign promise of being a team of caring people, who take a caring approach, to provide caring solutions.
Mission Accomplished awards were given to Joanne Morse and Jamie Dack.
Joanne Morse of Shirley received the client-facing Mission Accomplished award. Morse is SVP Commercial Banking Relationship Manager for Fidelity Bank. Morse has risen through the ranks and has truly come into her own in her current role. Morse takes the time to look at each opportunity that comes before her. She infuses the LifeDesign promise into her work by advocating for the borrower without losing sight of protecting the interests of the bank. Her clients respect her because she is honest, manages their expectations, and will go the extra mile to meet their needs.
Jamie Dack of Winchendon was given the Mission Accomplished award representing the support departments of the bank. Dack is EFT Specialist II for Fidelity Bank. Dack shows she is a caring colleague who lives the LifeDesign promise by being is a leader in the deposit operations group, training her colleagues on ACH and IRA’s to strengthen the whole team. She is able to think through requests that are made of her and then guide others to alternative solutions with less impact. She is the kind of co-worker who will stay late the last day before her vacation to help a client.
Role Model awards were given to employees who personify Fidelity Bank’s five guiding values of treating everyone with care and respect, making sound and ethical professional decisions, pursuing excellence, being committed to continuous learning and improvement and maintaining a positive and fun work environment.
Amber Nash-Urraro of Leominster received the bank’s Role Model award for personifying the bank’s guiding value of Treating Everyone with Care and Respect. Nash-Urraro is Assistant Branch Manager for Fidelity Bank’s Leominster Connector branch. Nash-Urraro shows true CARE in a LifeDesign way by being willing to go beyond her own branch to help her colleagues at other branches solve problems and fill schedule gaps.
Shawn Guerrin of Athol was recognized for Making Sound and Ethical Professional Decisions. Guerrin is Senior Teller for Fidelity Bank’s Gardner branch. A client praised Guerrin for actions and diligence that made her feel secure and his demonstration of those qualities helped Fidelity Bank successfully navigate challenging situations that could have led to losses for the bank. His sound and ethical approach helped new team members from Fidelity Bank’s merger with Colonial Co-operative Bank get acclimated to Fidelity Bank processes and procedures.
Michelle Ramos of Baldwinville is being honored for Pursuing Excellence. Ramos is Compliance and Risk Analyst for Fidelity Bank. This long time employee had a remarkable 2018, balancing the demands from major initiatives in her own department while completing the LifeDesign University Launch program. She revamped the vendor management program and collaborated across business lines to ensure that training was performed for this function.
Terrence O’Kane of Fitchburg was honored for exemplifying the bank’s guiding principal of pursuing Continuous Learning and Improvement. O’Kane is a Human Resource Specialist for Fidelity Bank. Since joining Fidelity Bank a few years ago, he has embraced role changes with a smile, completed both his Master’s Degree and his Predictive Index Certification, all while learning Human Resources from the ground up.
The entire Client Care team was recognized for Maintaining a Positive and Fun Work Environment.
Tanya Quinn of Athol is VP Client Care Manager, Necole Goodman of Lunenburg is Client Care Representative, Kaylin Carpenter of Ashburnham is Client Care Representative, and Janette Fontaine of Baldwinville is Client Care Representative for Fidelity Bank. This team is upbeat and energized every day and is always coming up with fun ideas, challenges, and contests that translate into extremely positive client interactions.
